Would you feel comfortable flying to Cyprus right now?

Due to fly to Cyprus next week to visit family. I’m a bit unsure with the current situation - would you think it’s ok to fly over there? Family don’t seem too worried about it but I’m just on edge.

I don’t really think airlines will be running commercial flights to Cyprus if they believe there is a risk. Eg I think easyJet have paused some.

Nope, but even if I was ok with it most of the travel operators have cancelled flights there until at least Saturday (and it’s an evolving situation so I wouldn’t be surprised if further cancellations are announced).

I flew back on Monday morning (6 hours after the drone attack) honestly, it was fine. We have a huge military presence in Cyprus so there are always good security measures. The media reports have really exaggerated things. I am due to travel back next Friday and won’t hesitate.

We were actually looking to go there in Mar, but no, we won't be going.
