How bad could it get and would the uk giverment step in do u think if got very nad,unfortunately due to mobility issues we have no choice but to use the car

I do, which is exactly why I filled my car up tonight. The reason wasn’t the potential increase in cost over the next few weeks, but trying to avoid any horrendous mile long queues to buy fuel.
