What on earth is this illness I’ve got?

Yesterday morning started with feeling sick and stomach pains, headache and chills. By the evening I was passing watery diarrhoea regularly.
I hardly slept last night as I had to keep getting up for the toilet to pass more

This morning I’m extremely achy - my lower back, my legs etc. and got chills again. Took my temperature. It’s between 36.7 and 37.
Very tired but can’t rest as I feel so unwell

I haven’t been sick at all.
It hasn’t really followed the pattern of other stomach bugs including norovirus that I’ve had in the past.
Usually the aches etc will be easing off by now (24 hours after symptoms began).

Echo what coastalcalm says please don’t just drink lots of water. You’ll need some salts and sugars to rebalance electrolytes I know this as my dh has a medical condition and is prone to dehydration which can make you feel poorly, cramps and aches, headache etc. If you like Bovril that’s good to drink or sports Lucozade Hope you feel better soon

Codeine will stop the diarrhoea and help with aches and chills

Sounds like Noro, DH had it a few weeks back. Each phase last almost exactly a day,

Hate to say it but I was like this with Covid and was ill for a long time, the back ache was the worst,I had a temperature for 5 days, utterly grim. On the other hand could be a stomach bug ,really common for them to last a week or more. Hope you're feeling better soon.
