Slippers on holiday

Im going on holiday and am not sure whether to pack slippers. I am taking flip flops, so I could use them as slippers so it's one less item to pack.

I wear Birkies as summer slippers at home and abroad.

In colder months I have an ancient pair of lightweight totes slippers - always take them to my mother's too.

I like something on my feet.

I take a dressing gown too! Perfect for loafing around in!

Some sort of cover up is definitely needed at breakfast. On summer hols I can manage with a beach cover up. I've been known to manage with a coatigan/long cardigan on a spring break. Some surfers wear their dry robes on cool summer Cornish balconies at breakfast, but that's probs going too far

I always need slippers, as I don't want to skid on the bathroom floor. But most decent hotels provide them anyway - and, if they don't, I just take a pair I've acquired from a different hotel.....I have a drawer full.
But I don't think I own any flip flops!
