Our manager is very over the top friendly face to face but has an unpleasant side and currently is accusing staff of bitching about each other and about his management of the company based on what he’s not saying ie no evidence facts examples. So we are collectively getting scolded and told it won’t be tolerated without knowing any facts or details and the whole situation is actually very unpleasant and unsettling. I feel without specifics it’s impossible to agree or disagree and the whole approach is bad for morale. We are an older workforce in a caring industry and I believe everyone is reliable and conscientious.
