To feel a bit uncomfortable about tradesman's 'dodgy' photos

I had a tradesman to quote for some work and he was showing me some photos on his phone of other work he'd done but kept scrolling past certain images and making a play of saying 'ha ha better make sure I dont show you anything I shouldn't'. I dont know what he was referring to but it made me uncomfortable and not inclined to use him. Am I being paranoid and pearl-clutchy or was it pretty unprofessional?

Edited for typo

It's when he wants to show you really dodgy pictures on his phone that it's time to worry.

May have been a joke, may not. But if you got a bad feeling from him you're absolutely right to look elsewhere. He should have such photos in a separate folder.

Oops think I've said this before 🙈 I meant it as a joke like him, but I can see why it would make you a bit uncomfortable because maybe it isn't the most professional thing to say. I also think it can infer something sexual which any sort of reference he needs to stay clear from in a situation like this.
