DH is trying to put his foot down, but that rarely stops me.
I want a cleaner. Our son's are at school all day, I have the time but I have a lot on my to do list, too.
DH says I should have the time to it!!
The swine!!!!
Is it really that big a deal?

Oooh, this is good trolling. Maintaining the stance from the previous thread - good continuity.

Look forward to you popping up in the future again Johnso.

brightongirldownunder · 16/06/2008 16:12

Where are you johnso? I've got my lingerie on...

hullygully · 16/06/2008 16:15

None of them understand you. You are ENTITLED to a full staff, not just a cleaner. It is your RIGHT. Stand up and fight for it. And why not a new car too?

johnso · 16/06/2008 16:59

Thank you hully. Though dripping with sarcasm, I
must say I agree with your point about entitlement. i had his children, didn't I?
I am proud to be a feminist, and yes, I rule the roost, isn't that what we burnt our bras for?

Cappucino, I think that was unfair on you, and we are sparring partners!!

Oh really - we've all got quite enough to do.
Cleaners? wouldn't be without one.
Now must go Richard and Judy are back.
busy busy....

theBOD · 16/06/2008 17:14

johnso is definitely the best troll.
remember her giving out to her husband, making him do the shopping and cook his birthday dinner before complaining that he hadn't paid her enough attention that day.
i doff my cap to your wind up abilities.

Twelvelegs · 16/06/2008 17:14

johnso, more hours for dh if you learn to drive as that's much more than a cleaner, up to four times the price.
I don't buy the idea that you want to SAH whilst your husband provides for you to do things that are out of your budget and you don't clean your own house.

EustaciaVye · 16/06/2008 17:17

If you can afford it on current household income then YANBU

If you cannot afford it on current household income then YABU

johnso · 16/06/2008 17:33

I think you that most of you are being unreasonable on here.
I don't get back from the school run until 9.30, then I have to leave at 2pm to collect them again. That is only 4 or so hours to get dinner ready, half a bath, go to the gym and do a multitude of other things, never even mind my to do list!!

Twelvelegs · 16/06/2008 17:36

Do the housework before you leave the house, get up at 6.30 and more from 9.30- 10.30..... if a cleaner could do it in three hours you've got at least 2 a day to get stuff done.

2point4kids · 16/06/2008 17:46

You are so funny its making me want to change my name and do some trolling too

MicrowaveOnly · 16/06/2008 17:52

lol what a great thread. How can you call yourself feminist if you live off of a man's earnings...and surely it doesn't take 4 hours to dust a bridge???

johnso · 16/06/2008 18:03

Sorry twelvelegs, that is out of the question, I am not a morning person

ThinWhiteDuchess · 16/06/2008 18:18

johnso, I think you are rather missing the point of feminisim! You are however quite expert in producing some very funny threads!!

EustaciaVye · 16/06/2008 18:26

Lol @ your last post johnso

rookiemater · 16/06/2008 18:33

Oh johnso, this is so disappointing after your last thread.

That was a truly excellent troll fest, where you dropped in just enough details for it to appear almost plausible. Sadly this is crude and one dimensional in comparison. D- for effort.

johnso · 16/06/2008 20:31

twelvelegs- 4 x the price?
I don't know how he could fit more work in, he only has one day off a week!
Maybe a couple of hours at the end/ beginning of a shift? He is ALLOWED to do that, I have checked
