Hi

I have had a painful groin for the past 18 years and over the past 3 years my back, buttock, hip and thigh are painful too and I have trouble walking. All my symptoms are at my right groin and right side of body. I have had lumbar MRI, hip xray, seen various specialists and nothing has been found to be wrong and physiotherapy has not made and difference.I have now insisted on a groin ultrasound as I wonder if it could be an inguinal hernia. Has anybody had chronic groin pain or been diagnosed with an occult inguineal hernia? I am female. I suspect a male might have been referred for a groin ultrasound more quickly. Thanks for reading.

I get that pain too on and off it comes if I do too much exercise but goes away with rest mine is on the left
I have a small Inguinal hernia, confirmed by ultrasound and I can feel the lump there
did you find out if you have one?
