What was wrong with me?

I had flu symptoms from weds and then what I thought was sinusitis but I’m now wondering if it wasn’t last night I was writhing in agony with head (front and side) pain and really bad tooth pain and nose pain min, my head was throbbing and nothing like paractenil was working my heart. Rate was up to 112 and I had a fever.
it’s left me quite traumatised and I wonder if anyone had anything like this before?

I had horrendous sinus infection when 38 weeks pregnant, I didn't sleep for 3 days! It was so incredibly painful. I can still remember it now. I cried to the GP and he prescribed antibiotics. Try phoning 111.

I have antibiotics I just wondered could it be something else as the pain is so severe

Sinusitis is very painful. When I had it a few months ago, I also had awful headaches, tooth, jaw and cheek pain. If you still have fever in 24 hours and don't feel any improvement on the antibiotics, go to your pharmacist/GP/call 111 as (very rarely) sinus infection can travel to the brain and cause sepsis...if you feel worse, seek help sooner, but I expect the antibiotics will soon kick in and you'll feel much better very soon.

Sinus infection can be very painful no reason to suspect anything else

There's a very annoying nerve called the trigeminal nerve that winds all over the face and if you have bad sinusitis putting pressure on it you can get unpleasant pain in the cheek, above and below the eye, and even a very good imitation of toothache on that side.

Yes, I had a sinus infection after a cold last year. The pain was horrific, so bad I vomited several times and passed out. Fortunately it only lasted a few days before it began to subside but it was awful at the time.

Covid.
Sounds exactly like Covid.
Do a test.
Rest as much as you can.
Don’t pass it on.
Long Covid ruined my life.
Covid didn’t disappear! 🙄

I get that sometimes, pain just goes up the side of your face and it feels like tooth ache and migraine together. It's hard to explain but so painful!

I did, turned out I needed a root canal in a tooth four away from the front.
