To think at this point, this is organised crime that could have been identified?

First, Madame Pelicot. Her husband drugging her and inviting strangers to rape her. A crime so horrific, so unimaginable, that it felt like unsual and shocking, a one off.

Then, Phillip Young, who drugged his wife and invited strangers to rape her. At this point, it becomes a strange coincidence that two perverted, horrific men happened to have the same twisted idea.

Now in Manchester: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cqxde27ep5qo

What the hell is going on? These crimes are too similar. There must be networks sharing ideas, or websites where this is discussed.

AIBU to ask how could three such crimes, involving so many men, have gone unnoticed by authorities? And how many more will be uncovered?

A metal sign botled to a concrete wall engraved with the words .The Crown Court at Manchester Minshull Street'.

Man charged with raping unconscious wife with other men for years

The defendants cannot be named for legal reasons at this stage.

It’s not organised crime, as such, it’s just men, being vile and gross and abusive.

But the behaviours have such a strong pattern, and involve recruiting numerous male strangers, there has to be online signs that can be used to link offenders together and identify more cases. This has form.

It does make you wonder if the how-to is being shared somewhere, like on some sicko's forum, at the very least.

I'm sure that in the Pellicot case, there was evidence of using certain websites to network with other men with this particular hideous fetish, I can't remember what they were called though. Would it be the 'dark web'? I don't really know what that is or how you would go about accessing it but isn't it used by paedophile and others interested in criminal sexual activities?

IceStationZebra · 20/02/2026 22:27

They probably don’t need the dark web, we can see from the Epstein files how little consideration these freaks have for privacy, where the don’t think what they do is wrong
