What are you getting your DM for Mother’s Day this year?

I’ve bought my mother a beautiful frame from M&S and I’ll get a photo printed slightly closer to the time. Not sure what else to get her to go with it. Maybe some flowers.

What are you getting for your DM for Mother’s Day?

Ordered her a rose, will need to go and plant it!

A card. It's not a present day to me.

She's 85 and not very mobile. A new jigsaw puzzle, a necklace with a magnetic clasp (she has arthritis in her fingers) and a big bunch of flowers. We'll collect her and take her to our house for lunch.

Even if she wasn't dead, whatever I'd do would never have been enough, so it'd be a card that said something about "all the love you deserve" and something else she could whinge about.

I shall gladly buy some flowers and think of my lovely (also dead) step mother though.

My mum died many years ago, so I have noone to buy for anymore. On the Saturday, DD is taking me for dinner and cocktails in Soho. She knows I'd much rather spend time with her than have 'stuff' and she's very generous in spoiling me.

A local small business is doing decorated iced mum themed biscuits so a box of them and I had seen a nice mug I was going to get her to go with them but at a recent trip to a garden centre she has said “I don’t need any more mugs” 😂🤦‍♀️ so I might get her some flowers instead
