So what do we think will happen to Andrew, could he actually go to prison?

I just don’t believe it could happen. Also I’d like him to go to prison for the sex offences, that seems more important than his sharing confidential information problem.

I think he will either top himself or someone will be scared of him talking and have away with him.

He will absolutely not top himself

No. Seriously, I'd like you to tell me what sex offences he has committed.

Being a sleazy middle aged git isn't a criminal activity.

Perhaps we’re all about to find out.

Not to mention we already know about what Virginia Giuffre told us and the confirmation that that notorious photo is real.
And that £££ payout to Virginia by The Queen and former Prince Charles on behalf of Andrew.

And that other photo of Andrew on his hands and knees leaning over that girl on the floor.

And Andrew having a quite intimate friendship with the world’s most infamous pedophile for decades and then lying about ending it.

If it walks like a duck and it quacks like a duck…

You’re obviously intelligent. Don’t be obtuse.

Then you know absolutely nothing of trafficking and coercion.

True. Do you, thiagojones?

ComeOnJeremy · 19/02/2026 20:36

FWIW I don’t think they would have arrested him if they didn't have extremely good evidence and hadn’t already decided that the would charge him if appropriate. The police will have a lot of questions to answer if they don’t charge.

It is an area of the law I have previously worked in, yes.

That's incorrect. They just had a legal expert on Sky News explain that the reason the police had to arrest him, rather than ask him to come in voluntarily for interview, is that under the Criminal Justice Act, arresting someone gives the police additional power to seize documents. So they needed to arrest him to be able to raid his house to see what evidence they could gather. It's therefore not a given they have the evidence they need and it could be months before the CPS gives the nod to charge him.

In other words, it's far from a done deal.

Good grief

I take a different view to many. I don’t think he would be arrested unless the police considered there was a good case against him on the documentary evidence.

What’s in it for the police to arrest him and then nothing to follow? It’s just creating a rod for their own back because people will criticise them and the CPS by saying it was dropped because of who he is.

The documentary evidence, as I understand it, seems pretty strong.

I get the cynicism but if there was no chance of prosecution, I just don’t see why they’d bother.

Of course, it’s entirely possible that he’s just as thick as two short planks and didn’t understand what he can and can’t do and what is acceptable in that role (not that it’s a defence).

And the Epstein stuff happened in the US so I don't think they can get him for that here. There has been talk about women coming into the country with him on private planes but I don't know if it can be proven to be trafficking. He could get a long sentence for misconduct in a public office.

In some cases, the UK can prosecute its own citizens for crimes committed abroad, but only where Parliament has explicitly allowed it. Examples include terrorism, war crimes, genocide, certain sexual offences involving children, and bribery under the Bribery Act 2010.

Oh really? Give me an example of the evidence of him personally being guilty of sex trafficking?

Be very careful now - you could be called as an expert witness.....

No. My hope is that how they fall goes like this...

Andy gives up information to stay out of prison.
He gives up a load of smaller players. Some of whom are under the UK purview.
They get arrested.
The UK gets any small fish, drivers, pilots, chefs, waiters and turns the screws.
They now have a lot of information.
They get bigger and bigger fish.
They work with the US democrats to make it intolerable to continue.
The whole shitty boiling of them either kill themselves or get arrested and thrown in prison.

The End.

Would like this to happen too. Maxwell has not talked, but here's a chance.
I was very happy to hear this today, I think this story is grim and horrific. Yes the arrest is about state issues, not abuse but could this get the rest of the players out in the sunlight?
Nothing would surprise me anymore re him going to jail, we live in bonkers times.
I'm glad I'm not a journalist because I haven't got the stomach for this story, but everything will come out eventually.
But it can't be Andrew taking the fall, the truth must all come out of all the other names.

Edited

The police consulted the CPS before they arrested him – they got the go-ahead precisely because they have enough evidence as things stands. Raiding his homes will allow them to gather even more.

Prosecution is very, very likely.

If he agreed and arranged for Epstein to fly girls into the UK to bring them to Buckingham Palace as per emails JE wrote to friends that are in the files, then AMW is 100% complicit in sex trafficking.

It's been reported that Essex police are investigating whether JE flew girls into Stansted specifically to visit AMW in Windsor – they'll be able to check names and dates provided for flight manifests against dates and times mentioned in emails in the Epstein files. If those tally, AMW could feasibly be charged with being complicit in trafficking girls into the UK. Possibly Fergie too.

No and No.

All this pitchfork waving is pretty stupid.

As far as I'm aware he had sex with VG who was 17 - according to her own account.

So where is the criminal offence?

Seedy and sleazy - YES but not illegal
Vomit inducing - YES but still not illegal

The age of consent is 16, 17 or 18 depending on the US state. There is no nationwide federal age of consent for ordinary sexual activity. Where trafficking is involved, the federal government can become involved.

At the moment ABW has been interviewed about misconduct in public office, a common law offence.

Having sex with trafficked young girls is illegal.

Paul2023 · 19/02/2026 21:01

I think his arrest will be just that. The Royal family have probably had a con-flab and Charles has told Andrew he must face questions by the Police. It’s all about damage limitation to the Royal Family.

I think Charles knows that the Royals in their current form are on borrowed time. If Andrew gets away completely with it, it’ll cause untold damage to the RF.

Andrew has been arrested and will give the police what they need. He will probably have some restrictions but in a few weeks and months, it’ll gradually go away once the public see Andrew is being seen to to help the police with their enquiries.

I absolutely don’t think that Andrew will go to prison , it would be a logistical and administrative nightmare. It won’t happen.

I think the very worst he’ll get will
be some form of suspended sentence.

Exactly. VG was trafficked into the UK to have sex with him at Ghislaine Maxwell's Belgravia home.

And on another thread, why did Labour vote against another inquiry into grooming gangs?

this makes me wonder if you are male or female.

I haven’t read the rest of the threads replies yet, but who are you, what life have you lived, have ties or acquaintances to him, family member?

Read the room and hope your own skeletons in closet never get found out for supporting such an individual. You know very little of the realities

Frenzi · 19/02/2026 21:06

He will suffer a "heart attack" within the next 18months.

Sara Ferguson will sell her story - coming out of it all innocent. She has no money , no job and no support. She needs to make a living somehow!

I do wish posters read previous posts .......... tiresome to have to keep repeating oneself.

Try this.

Before you write your allegations fact check them first.
