Any help is appreciated, two binge drinking sessions.

20 days of abstinence

Will a peth test be passed

If the binge drinking was within 3 - 4 weeks of the Peth test it will be picked up. That’s why Peth testing is the gold standard when it comes to alcohol testing (over Hair strand tests or liver function tests).

could 21days of abstinence take me below the 20ng threshold?

I’m a lawyer not a scientist. So I’m used to reading and understanding these results. But as I say I am not a scientist or a doctor. My understanding is that the pivotal factor will be when the binge drinking occurred proximate to the test being undertaken. The tests are said to detest Peth for up to 21 - 28 days but a one off drinking incident might not be picked up after 12 days. Within 12 days it would be highly surprising if the Peth test did not detect “binge” consumption of alcohol. This is unlike HSTs alone which are far less likely to pick up “spikes” in drinking if overall there has not been chronic excessive use.
