Can't stand the 4 dogs of my husband anymore

Well, my husband didn't used to like dogs very much, but since 2017, he's developed an obsession with them. It probably comes from his family, since they love dogs; he has four Shih Tzu dogs.He can't stand the smell of dogs, and he bathes them practically every day, even when they're clean. The problem is that he dries them and spends hours with the hairdryer on, practically Every day, sometimes I can't sleep because of the noise,I've told him to turn off the hairdryer at certain times, but he doesn't care. He also wants those dogs sleeping with us in bed. I don't know what to do,It makes me want to break up with him,The balcony area sometimes gets covered in dog feces, leaving it smelling bad.

Does he have OCD ? Daily washing and blow-drying of dogs is excessive and cruel.

This all sounds made up.i find it very hard to believe that a man who hates the smell of dogs would have 4 , let them use the balcony as a toilet and insist they sleep in bed with him. As for spending hours washing and drying them every day that is just crazy!

We have four chihuahuas who are bathed monthly, just before they are flea'd and wormed, unless they roll in something disgusting. Without the blow-drying, it takes 2 of us an hour to wash all of them. If we blow-dry the long-haired demon, that adds another 20-30 minutes.

We use this sometimes if they get mildly muddy between baths. Very muddy requires a rinse under the shower. Fox shit requires quarantining

I absolutely love the smell of my dog and she sleeps with us now and again as a treat. She has a bath about once a year. There's no need for constant bathing. Those poor dogs. He can't be a dog lover to treat them like this. Definitely sounds like a case of OCD.

I would report his abuse of these dogs to the RSPCA. Because it is abuse. Toileting on the balcony - do they get walked? An the constant washing? It's abuse. Your husband should not be allowed to have dogs.

Ours get hosed if filthy (one just attracts mud, he’s disgusting after walks if it rains) but I just shove them in towelling bags and leave them for an hour. They have 3 walks a day and don’t shit in the garden, therefore.
