I ordered an Ipl device online from Ulike UK .
I had it shipped to a local parcel shop ( the courier is Evri).
I had an email to say that the parcel was in store and ready to collect .
I went to collect the parcel. It wasn't there and my name wasn't on the shop's list of parcels .
I've been dealing with Evri (national and local depot) they have tried to locate it but no luck .
Evri told me to contact Ulike after 10 days so that Evri and Ulike could investigate my case .
I have had an email from Unlike asking me to ask the parcel shop to find CCTV of the delivery time . They have also emailed me a Non-Receipt of Goods Disclaimer Form .
It says it's a legally binding declaration.
It says it must be signed by the consignee .
Who is the Consignee ? How am I expected to get their signature ?
Has any body had to deal with Ulike ?
Is this normal for a missing parcel ?
I've only ever dealt with Amazon and they are very straightforward to deal with and I've never had a problem with refunds from them .
I paid by credit card . Can I get a refund from my credit card company if I have problems with Ulike/Evri ? How would I go about doing that ?
Am I being unreasonable thinking that asking a shop to look for CCTV and signing legal documents is a bit odd ?
Thanks 😊
