If your husband asked you if you were having a sex dream because you smelled of sex how would that make you feel? Context is he has come to bed late and woke you up and you have asked why he has come to bed so late. You were not having a sex dream.

More context. The comment about the sex dream happened the next day, not at the time.

That he was making an excuse as to why he smelled of sex if you questioned him in the future.

Interesting, that didn’t cross my mind and I don’t think that’s the case!

I’d be thinking he’d had a wank downstairs and was projecting it onto you.
