Has anyone living in Ruislip, Hillingdon received or heard about being offered a place with a good passing score??
There are so many different opinions about out of catchment , I’m very much stressed and wondering if my daughter will get a place ..
please share your experiences

It will vary by school, which are you hoping for? Ruislip seems a stretch for most in Bucks. And how would you logistically get them there if you were to be offered a place.

Beaconsfield , Burnham and High Wycombe
There are coaches from private companies and they do have a stop in Ruislip , if she is offered a place we are happy to move to Denham and she can take the coaches from there

https://media.buckinghamshire.gov.uk/documents/Secondary_school_allocations_-_2_April_2025_Re-allocation_Round.xlsx shows second round offers so it seems Wycombe might be the more likely but even then outside the distance last year, and not on offers day.

Just googled Bucks grammar furthest distance

I think you'll be pushing it from Ruislip. You definitely won't get Burnham, looking at previous stats. What preferences did you put on your form? Hopefully you put a local school as well.
The information for previous years is all on the Buckinghamshire (not Buckingham, that's a town a long way away). Very few will get places after March 1st.

Thank you for the reply .
1-Beaconsfield
2- Burnham
3-Wycombe high

and I did put a local school , one of my friend’s son goes to Burnham and she lives 2-3 miles away from me.
she convinced me about Burnham , if we don’t get in first round I am hoping we can get it in 2nd and 3rd round .. just wondering if anyone has got in 2nd and 3rd rounds from Hillingdon .. it really is playing on my head to be honest

Burnham has gone 2 or 3 miles outside catchment for the last couple of years, so your friend either lives inside that distance or there is a sibling or something other reason to bump them up the admissions criteria. I'm not sure where the catchment boundary is, but I would guess Denham. I honestly think you can discount Burnham, Becky high & Wycombe are a bit more unpredictable i think. Very few get in in the second & third rounds, it tends to be people who have moved very close to the schools some time after October.
My knowledge is out of date, but you can look on the Buckinghamshire Council website for the allocations
