Weird things that make you feel good.

I was thinking today about how much i love drinking cold water straight from the tap. No glass. Either cup hands and drink from them or put my mouth down to catch the water. Love it.
What are some weird things you love

I like a really good stretch. Not great when I absent mindedly went to do one after my cesarean and felt my wound starting to desperate so stopped in panic!

I love taking my bra off and my right hand side where the bra has been always gets a good scratch

Walking round the house naked.....when no-one else is in lol.
Walking through fallen leaves when they are dry and crispy....not soggy. Doesn't make the same satisfying sounds when wet!
Clean bed sheets..... love the smell especially if they have been dried outdoors..... heavenly

Gazing out of the window as a car passenger and zoning out. Even better if it’s driving through the countryside.

DH says I look like I’m in a cheesy ballad music video!

I’m hooked on my Vicks inhaler - I had one when I had a cold and now I just use it through every day - I swear it helps clear my head or relax me (I dunno ) 😆😆

Being able to sleep right up until my alarm goes off. Quite rare these days

On paper, a bloke with ribbons in his hair, eyeliner, lip gloss, leather pants and a cape shouldn't be the most attractive man that ever lived. Somehow he pulls it off. 😂

Drinking from a big glass of water in the bath and letting it overflow and sort of dribble down.
Also in the bath breathing in the smell of the sponge - I am still tempted to suck the water out it like I did when I was pregnant and struggling to drink anything but that was the only way I could face it!

I will now have to go and watch Stand and Deliver! I was absolutely obsessed with AATA when I was a young teen back in the 80s. He was so incredibly beautiful back then ♥️
On a completely unrelated note, one of the best feelings is when I've just shaved my legs and my cat comes and rubs up against them!
Also eating the first mint from a freshly opened packet of Extra Strong mints. The rest never quite hit as hard.

He's 71 now. I don't know how so much time passed so quickly. Video is on YouTube. He licks his lip then looks into your soul 😂

New marker pens for the whiteboard and squelching in the mud when I have my wellies on 😍

I love driving over bumps (not speed bumps) in the road where the asphalt has sunk or raised or worn away. Or maybe roots pushing up. I always drive my wheels over these on purpose. Think I lack sensory stimulation as I drive hours most days. Hubby thinks it's not great for the car. And another vote for fresh bedsheets.

I love standing on a conker shell and watching the most beautiful, shiniest auburn brown conker pop out.

Getting really, really dirty and then having a good long shower.

Pedalling furiously to go as fast as possible down hills and then free-wheeling and shouting 'Weeeeeee!'

A good stretch.
Fresh bed sheets.
Laundry on the line in summer.
The smell of just cut grass.

Seeing a freight train: the longer, the better. Best of all is the double-deck one which transports literally hundreds of new cars from Nottingham to the Channel Tunnel.

Stomping on wild mushrooms I see while out walking

Using one of those exfoliating towels in the shower - my skin is so soft afterwards and I feel all rejuvenated. Bliss!

Every few weeks I get an eyelash that grows right in the corner of my eye and I can just tell when it’s appeared overnight, then pluck it very gently with my special tweezers purchased especially for this one hair every three weeks 🤣

This is pretty gross but I love sniffing my toddlers cheesey toes!

I love rubbing smooth soft dog hair on my face, particularly the bit between my nose and top lip.
A Jack Russell’s ear is ideal and the top of a cocker spaniel’s head is nice too
