DH colleague constantly on our TV

DH is in a group chat with 3 colleagues. 2 men, 2 women. They constantly swap (very innocent) pics. Everyone happily married, bar one of the women. I like her, there’s no threat there whatsoever. But whenever we pause the TV, it reverts to DH camera roll and always seems to settle on a selfie of this woman. So when we are topping up drinks or getting a wee she’s on our TV screen. Starting to pee me off a bit!

How do you know they are all happily married? Why does he have so many pictures of this woman in particular?

Tell him to stop pairing his phone with the telly! It sounds completely insufferable.

Change your screensaver?

it sounds like the photos being shared among the members of his group chat are being auto saved to his camera roll. He can turn that off too

Tell him to change his settings ffs. Is he hard of thinking?

Why on earth are they sending photos to each other all the time? Why does he need photos of this woman?

They are work colleagues. Why is his relationship with them intruding into his home life?

Tell him to change his settings on the TV and phone otherwise you will set it to your camera role so that heavily revolves around studmuffin Shane and the rest of the topless, super buff, oiled up, 20 something year old mechanics/ IT nerds/ account geeks or whomever feature at your workplace and see how he likes it!

We changed our settings so it only showed a particular folder of chosen photos rather than the whole camera reel after the green chicken I bought from Aldi ended up on the TV!

If you've no concerns there's nothing to be bothered by, but camera reel is always going to show up odd things, I was taking pictures of codes in IKEA recently for example

Stop watching tv?

Get him to turn off the setting that automatically adds photos he’s been sent to his camera roll. Didn’t know anyone still left this on! He must have all sorts of rubbish using up his memory?

That is quite funny. He needs to change the setting so it's just genetic screensavers.

Our old telly was paired with my Amazon tablet and I did set it to sync my cloud photo gallery as I was fed up with generic screensavers. It was mostly cute memories of the kids when they were little (all old photos as my cloud got full) but quite a few random ones of the gas meter when I had to take a pic to do a reading and one of a boil on top of my head - had to ask one of the kids to take it as I couldn't see it!
