to giggle childishly at the end of the Canesten advert when it says...

"So you can start feeling yourself again"

I know I am, and I know they carefully stress the 'yourself' and not the 'feeling'.

But I don't care!

we don't have such delightful adverts here in Holland (unfortunately) but is there a chance that they're HOPING half of the viewers will read it as that...?! Memorable and all that

Izzybel · 15/06/2008 17:00

Lol. I had never even noticed!

lol I have never noticed that at all but I will be creased up next time I see it thanks!

GirlySquare · 15/06/2008 19:49

looking forward to seeing it - it beats the patronising radio advert with mr pessary and miss cream...fgs...

alicet · 15/06/2008 20:04

pmsl!!! Not unreasonable but probably very childish! This is NOT an insult in our house by the way - it's a very big compliment!

Not seen it but I do have a very smutty mind!! Looking forward to it now...

cornsilk · 15/06/2008 20:05

Ah! The funny side of thrush! Can't say I've ever noticed before.

youknownothingofthecrunch · 15/06/2008 21:07

I feel thoroughly complimented alice

It's certainly an innovative advertising technique.

YANBU although personally I find the Dulcoease advert more amusing.

Who came up with the idea of advertising a laxative with four women "SATC" style??? Its the way the red haired one says "you know, BOWEL stuff".

Always makes me chuckle.

youknownothingofthecrunch · 15/06/2008 21:12

I concur, 'tis crap (oh, such a bad pun, so ashamed, and yet not deleting it )

I've not seen it but, that one with the 'finest piece of technology, you will ever pee on' used to crack me up. Am sad and immature, I know.

youknownothingofthecrunch · 15/06/2008 21:16

It's the assumptions made by that advert that bothered me: I'll have you know I have peed on some very fine pieces of technology.

All sad and immature people welcome

DH and I had a right good chuckle.
Nice to find this thread and not feel alone in finding it hilarious.

Displacement - had never seen it like that before but I suspect you're right!
