To ask what your best birthday presents were?

Mine is coming up and people are asking for ideas. I'm genuinely drawing a blank and feel a bit "meh" in general about this year. I am in my 4th decade, if that helps.

What's been memorable, wacky, thoughtful or downright gorgeous birthday presents for you?

Funnily enough, I was thinking this morning about how my son is great at presents I hadn’t even thought about. One year he bought me a hanging egg chair for the garden- I can completely zone out whilst rocking in it. Another year he got me a nutribullet- I love it- use it every day!!

Our two sons booked and paid for, and amazing holiday for the whole family for DH and my birthday present. We had a wonderful week away, in a beautiful house, with our son's and their families. It was so lovely to spend an extended amount of time together, there were no arguments or disagreements and I can honestly say it was the best holiday I've ever had. It was such a lovely surprise and felt great to think they all wanted to spend time with us. Wonderful.
