burning head pain?

posting for traffic

I’ve had left-sided head and neck burning pain for a few days, tingling in my leg, and now some tingly pins & needles type feeling in my arm and chest. I also have been having intermittent blurry vision and changes in depth perception - I tried to read my toddler a book and kept missing the pages. I have a GP appointment Thursday, but I’m wondering if anyone with nursing or neurological experience can advise what symptoms might indicate I need earlier assessment. I just don’t feel right at all and never felt like this also but also am prone to health anxiety and so just not sure what to do

Sorry you’re feeling unwell. Is the tingling one-sided?

You're definitely doing the right thing getting checked out by your GP. I have been suffering the last 4 weeks with daily headaches and stiff neck/neck pain. Also having episodes of dizziness etc. I went to my GP who was not concerned but said it sounded muscle/nerve related. Since getting a shoulder and neck massage and doing daily stretches of my neck, I have had much less frequent headaches or issues. Might be worth a try doing these things until you can be seen by your GP.

@pinacollamayes one sided, left side. It’s the back of my head like almost in a straight line from my ear? Never had a head pain like this before

I think with your symptoms I’d want to get checked out sooner than Thursday for piece of mind. Could you maybe call 111 for advice?

I know health anxiety makes you question everything, but I don't have any health anxiety and I would be ringing 111 if that helps?

No harm at all in getting checked over. It's quite likely a pinched nerve or a slightly odd migraine or something but it's better to be safe than sorry.
