Could I please ask if the “factory reset” completely wipes all info/data from IPhone? .

It has this effect, yes.

All data on your iphone is encrypted in a highly secure manner. It can’t be ‘unlocked’ and read without a key. The Factory Reset destroys the key.

At present, this renders the encryption truly unbreakable - it’s that strong. Advances in eg quantum computing could change that.

Someone would need to care very, very much and be prepared to go to considerable expense and effort, as well as to await further developments, before they could break into your phone. For the purposes of national security, Factory Reset isn’t good enough. For the rest of us, it probably is.

You need to decouple your phone from all other devices before resetting! Also be aware that Cloud storage etc is unaffected.
