If you spend time to read the actual emails rather than reposts of people's opinions online then most of you wouldn't feel so sick to your stomach and would actually view it quite differently. Unfortunately most of you won't, due to time or whatever, but will spend hours talking about how sickening the emails are. I too thought I would read the most horrific things but they don't exist. They simply aren't there unless you let speculation get the better of you. Go use the search tool on the DOJ website and search all kinds of weird terms to try to find evidence that fits this baby eating child abusing monster narrative. It's not there. There are multiple emails from women begging for work and people sending details about call girls for him...all of which were 19+. There are many emails from his gfs and ex gfs, who appear to be very in love and benefiting greatly from his wealth (even years later and living in different countries). I read hundreds of emails over the past few days and my opinion of the entire situation has changed.

How long did it take you to read 3.5m emails? Impressive

It reminded me when i was new to the UK, I was watching the news and it was story about pedophile in Manchester and Liverpool area. I understood as ONe Man named Peter field going around city's and abusing children. And I all policing and security and a country that is this much advance cannot locate and catch this man, believe me it took me years

It's interesting that the only person in jail is maxwell, she must know many of the secrets, the men who participated, why is she just sitting there for 20 years, why not make a deal??

She presumably thinks that she will be able to rely on people who "owe" her when she eventually gets out. And indeed, some of those who might be implicated by her testimony might be in a position to help get her out.

These emails are only half the emails - there are more not released.

Most things were not on email. The rooms had cameras in bedrooms ans bathrooms. There were hundreds and hundreds of video tapes that arent shown in the emails.

I've had too much time on my hands this week due to illness and I've gone down a rabbit hole with the epstein files.
Is anyone else struggling after reading this vile stuff?
I'm absolutely reeling and feel physically sick to my core. The world I thought we lived in doesn't exist (and probably never did in my lifetime).
It appears that not one single man involved will be held accountable. They are all being protected and the whole thing is being brushed under the carpet.
Why is this barely being reported on? Where are the protests? Are we being desensitised to this evil?
Can anyone help me make sense of this? 😢

Marina Hyde had a great piece in the Guardian yesterday pointing out that all the focus seems to be on the politicians and elites, and that the women and girls are now regarded more as collateral damage. The biggest scandal is that such men seem to regard females as being there to serve them---not just as sexual playthings, but to arrange their flights, their diaries, their correspondence. The servant class. Did they too all look the other way?
None of the more lurid claims have yet been proved but does such wealth and power make some individuals so jaded that only extreme depravity now excites them? Another Guardian story that caught my eye was that the Italians are investigating a man who took part in 'sniper tourism' during the war in the former Yugoslavia. Apparently some rich bastards paid large amounts of cash to have a go at shooting innocent civilians in Bosnia.

I am the same. Affecting my sleep etc. I have also fallen down the rabbit hole and am struggling to process what I have seen/read.

I think the mainstream reporting seems to be focusing on the trafficking of teen girls, which is horrific enough. However it's just the top of the iceberg....

I think that is how a lot of things have been viewed, that are now proving to be true. And dismissive comments like this are how they have got away with it for so long.

If you are getting stuff only from social media, then a large proportion of it will be fake.

It feels as though the rot has gone SO deep that it just cant be dealt with. The only people who've been stripped of their titles and generally punished are Peter Mandelson and Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, abd we can be sure that the former didn't assault any of the women! No one in the US at all! And no real reckoning for the many young women whose lives were trashed. The only person in jail is one woman who assisted Epstein. As ever it feels as though the powerful men will get away with it.

Agree Ariana12. I think the UK still has some collective sense of decency and integrity which is why AMW and Mandelson are being held accountable, only up to a point though, here. Far more could, and should, have been done earlier. I think there are darker forces at work in the US and it suits Trump and his like that the attention is on the UK with a royal family member and former Brit ambassador to Washington in the spotlight. Misogyny is at play too with the only person (currently) jailed in the US over it all being Ghislaine Maxwell.

They have paid for their names to be hidden. Trump is likely up to his neck in it, has either been paid to hide his 'associates' names, or knows that if they crumble so will he.
