Best Fabric Dye

Hi.
I'm thinking of dying an Ikea loose sofa cover. I believe its made of a cotton/polyester/linen mix. Can anbody with experience of fabric dye tell me which is the best one to use?
I understand the stitching may not take the dye so I was thinking a pale colour.
Thanks in advance.

I’ve only ever used Dylon. Not on sofa covers but on clothing and it’s very good.

Dylon is suitable for natural fibres but I think the instructions say that it will work on fabric with up to 20% synthetic fibres but the colour might not take as well. Rit dye is suitable for synthetic fibres but I think you need to do it in a pan of hot water so a sofa cover might not fit. Dylon is easy because the pods just go in the machine. You need 1 pod per 600g dry weigh fabric.

Polyester thread = use a sharpie.

Machine dye pods are the ones I’ve used.
