Hi
I told my manager i am 9 weeks pregnant with DC2. For various reasons, sickness appointments etc. She has already asked me how long i expect to be off and how long i want to work up till!? I just find this crazy and also insensitive during the first trimester. She doesnt have children herselg so might not think it isnt appropriate.

Just simply say you haven’t decided about either yet. You don’t legally have to at this early stage.

She probably wants to make plans for your absence Confused
You don’t have to give her exact dates yet, but she’s doing no harm asking.

To be fair to her, you told her early so it's not unreasonable for her to think there's no problem with discussing it.

All you have to say something like "I've not thought that far ahead yet. I'm just focusing on my scans until X weeks etc can I discuss it with you in more detail, say end of April?"
