The rest is politics episode on the 29th Jan, about 30 minutes in, discussed with relevant charities the use of children in online live streaming of porn. Apparently it’s estimated over 500,000 children in Malaysia were used for this up to 2022, they use ordinary media apps like WhatsApp (so children are most likely also being abused here in the U.K. but as there is no trace ….) . It’s a subject people find too disturbing to face but I am going to write to my MP to ask for Parliament to discuss this and how it can be controlled. It’s possible for phones to be set up so it’s impossible to use them for this type of filming but the tech guys aren’t interested so far. But like banning SM for under 16s, things can be done and bringing this into the open would be a first step.
