I've always thought the kind of "tang" of these scents (in body sprays, washing liquids, etc) is just like really strong BO. Is it just me?

No never. I think pasties and sausage rolls smell like BO.

I find rhubarb things often smell like cat wee! Which is odd because rhubarb itself does not

I don't but I really dislike fruit scented toiletries and cleaning products.

I like most grapefruit scents, but my mother grew rhubarb and whilst I can sometimes appreciate the taste, a stick of rhubarb really doesn’t smell of much, so the idea of a rhubarb scent is nonsense to me

No but Bombay Bad Boy pot noodles absolutely reek of BO!!! 🤢 (and probably taste like it)

Love the smell of grapefruit and never smelled BO.

Yep, I’ve got a face wash that must have grapefruit in it and every time I use it I can smell grapefruit and BO.

This reminds me of how some think l'occitane almond smells like wet dog

Pink grapefruit scent does smell of BO to me. My Dd loves it. Weird.

Not at all but I can't use Ecover washing up liquid aloe Vera because it smells like weeds.

I never thought this until my OH mentioned my pink grapefruit lip balm smelling of BO…now it’s all I can smell 😂

I don’t get that with those smells but certain tropical smells, smell like cat piss. Trident tropical chewing gum, taste lovely but if you didn’t know what it was and smelt it think it was cat piss

To me raw onions smell like BO, and coffee smells like ashtrays/nicotine (yup a genetic thing).

I think anything jo malone smells like toilet cleaner

Someone I know has rhubarb scented handwash in her bathroom, the smell makes me feel sick. I usually use a squirt of her shower gel instead to wash my hands.
But, rhubarb crumble and custard is my all time fave pud😍

Cut onion smells like unwashed male armpit and cheese smells like unwashed feet.

I'm not a fan of vanilla, chocolate, coconut, almond or most fruit cleansers (including rhubarb and grapefruit) for the body or the home. They don't smell as being clean. They smell like food.

But I like virtually all the M&S Apothecary bodywash scents. Even the blends including sweet orange, bergamot, thyme, cardamon and cinnamon etc. They smell of an expensive spa, not of a bakery. That's apparently what I want in a body cleanser?

To me fresh mint smells like BO. I have a superdrug moisturiser that smells like white wine!

I recently bought a mandarin and apricot shower wash. It reeks of BO. I have never noticed it with any other.
