To hoover before work?

I woke up early today and want to get some stuff done before I start work at 08:45. What time do you think it's acceptable to hoover on a weekday morning? I have on attached neighbour, an elderly lady. I don't want to wake her up early.

I hoover from 8. I think it’s ok from then for sure…. Maybe even 7.30

plus surely it’s more background white noise type through walls rather than (accidentally) slamming the front door which is often what my partner does at 6am

I would never hoover before 9 am, it is so noisy nobody wants to hear that first thing.

Your elderly neighbour will likely have been awake before you and her hearing may not be the sharpest either. I would say after 8 is absolutely fine and 7.30 at a push unless you have very thin walls.

Weekdays - rooms shared walls 8, 7:30 on non sharing wall rooms?

Weekends at least 9….if you can tell my neighbours that’s as 8am every Sunday arghhh

I would say not until after 9, unless you know that she is an early riser.

I would never hoover or cut the grass etc before 9am on a weekday and 10am on a weekend.

Why can’t you hoover after work?
