The documentary loosely touched on it (very briefly), but again, neither of them actually said anything about Rebecca. She wasn’t named. Nothing negative or derogatory was said.
It was discussed as a hard time in their marriage that they got through. Which is fair enough, the documentary was about their marriage after all.
They'd have known exactly what they were doing with it.
They'd didn't have to make a documentary - they're not exactly skint.
They are experts at how the media works. They knew what they were doing when they brought it up in their documentary, they knew the media were going to be pestering Loos for comment and that she was likely to give it.
The know how it works. Their brand thrives on being in the news. They made the choice to bring it back into the news, not her. They wanted the money that came from the documentary and made the choice to stir up the pot again.
That it's backfired on them because of the timing of their family fallout is sometimes what happens when you play those kind of games.
