There is a project by Peak Cluster proposing to build a 200km long pipe from cement and lime works in the Peak District to the sea bed in the North Sea.
This pipeline will require multiple above ground installations, spanning huge areas with 50m high chimneys.
The pipeline itself requires 30/40meter trenches to be dug to lay the pipe.
The biodiversity of the above ground will be impacted as deep rootted tress cannot be planted above.
There are multiple safety issues that are a threat to life and health.
The whole thing is awful.
If you are not aware of it please research.
Attached a photo of the map from the website of the proposed path.
