Help - left laptop on the Metro in Newcastle

I’m so stupid. I had two other bags coming in from the airport and genuinely thought it was over my shoulder when I left the train (coming into the centre from the airport) Only realised I didn’t have it at the hotel. Metro staff sending someone to look on the train but I fear there is little chance of it still being there. What else can I do? I’m so upset with myself and the implications if I can get it back. Passport was in the bag too just to make it worse.

Is it a personal or work laptop?

Both - I’m self employed

Post on local FB groups? Perhaps offer a reward?

What kind of laptop? If it’s a MacBook you can see where it is.

I left my mobile at a tube station and my bag on the tube on my way to Heathrow. I had to go all the way back to the station to see if my mobile was there. It wasn't on the platform so I buzzed the emergency button and some kind soul had handed my mobile in to the station office.

The bag & contents were eventually handed in to lost property.

Its so stressful. Really hope you get it back.
