I'm feeling a lot fed up. I've bought a new blind for the bedroom. I tried putting up a curtain pole and failed as the plaster was crumbly underneath unbeknownst to me, which meant as soon as the curtain pole went up, it came down again as it wouldn't hold on that side.
The blind is lovely. Despite measurements on the shop description meaning it should fit my recess, it didn't and I'd need to saw the metal pole of the blind, so I thought that I'd put it on the outside of the recess. I've screwed the fittings either side too wide so the blind won't fit at all! All these fucking holes in my wall look awful. I know I'm useless at most things so I don't know why I was ambitious with this.
I'll have to pay a handyman.
