To ask if anyone has owned both the Shark and the Dyson hairdryer and can therefore offer an official view on which to get

I am sick of not having sleek hair and I tried the Dyson and it is AMAZING but could the shark offer the exact same for £££ less?

(Now also wondering if should get the airwrap but that looks complicated I just need the anti flyaway thing really)

I’ve had both and the Shark Flexstyle is far superior. I had the Dyson first and wasn’t that impressed really from day one. Yes it was quicker to dry my hair but that was it. Then when it started cutting out and making me wait a few minutes before it would work again I gave up and bought a Shark which is fantastic and I love it!

I've had the Dyson hairdryer for 6 years and love it. Had the airwrap for one year and love it, there's a smoothing attachment which is great.

Never tried the Shark though.
