Easter

Couple sitting on the bus with an Easter egg they're giving to "our Dexter" and they have to write on the label. The husband asks his wife when to give it to him. She says she doesn't know but it's early this year she thinks it's March and "it's the one that changes every year".

AIBU to think everyone should know when it is if only for the opportunity to scoff chocolate eggs? I was obsessed with Easter immediately New Year was over!

I hope they don't get the munchies and it lasts for the next 10 weeks!

I was wrong, it’s Easter Monday that isn’t a public holiday in Scotland.

That egg is unlikely to last until Easter. Someone will eat it before April.

I'd have to check when Easter is this year. It is the one that moves around and it is quite early this year.

I hope Dexter enjoys his egg when he gets it, even if the bus one has been eaten and replaced before then. They sound like loving relatives/friends of Dexter.

I didn't know that. So the Scots get and extra day for New Year's eve partying (2nd January is not a bank holiday in England) and the rest of us get an extra day to eat chocolate eggs. I guess it's all about priorities. 😂

I know it's 5th April because I looked it up, as we have a Voucher for M and C. thought we can use it for an evening meal around Easter time . It varies so much though.23rd March one year right to mid April .Most people know from DC or DGC School holidays .I usually see when it's sort of when things re open NT houses ,Gardens and so on
