To think being on hold for 1 hour 14 minutes (and counting) is a bit much (Croydon NHS)

I'm trying to change my 12 week scan which has been booked for when my partner is out of the country. I have been on hold for 1 hour and 12 minutes and counting...

AIBU for thinking this is pushing it even for overstretched NHS ?

Or is this the new normal? Wondering whether Croydon is just particularly bad... tell

Can't even concentrate on anything else with with infernal music and 'please hold' every 10 seconds

Yanbu - I would’ve assumed they’re not tjere due to it being lunchtime and given up girl 😬😬

DH waited 2 hrs 12 mins to get an answer at our GP ☹️

I tried again at 2.01pm in case it was that and I was on hold for 55 minutes until they just disconnected me with a beep for no reason...

Wish wes streeting would invest in staff instead of putting millions into AI....
