Supermarket jute bags

Hold onto your hats, this will be a most riveting thread.

Which supermarkets still sell the natural, jute bags? All my local supermarkets only ever seem to have the plasticky reusable bags. I see pictures of the (eg) Waitrose ones with ingredients written on them (goats cheese, chorizo) but I haven’t seen them in a shop for ages.

AIBU for not being able to find them?
AIBU to start an incredibly dull thread?

I don’t think they were very popular because they aren’t waterproof, you can’t wash them/wipe them down and they really hurt your hands if you had to walk home from the shops carrying them.

Neptune, the design shop, used to give away jute bags. If you have a branch near you might be worth going in. Go in and ask for a brochure and then do they have a bag to put it in. The brochures are nice to look through so it's not a complete mickey take
