Lying about permanent residence?

My ex has stated today that he wants to change my eldest son’s permanent address to enable a higher chance of being selected for a particular post primary school which we both hope he will get on merit. He has DS 1-2 nights per week but lives closer to the school in question.

Aibu to think this is morally wrong?

Its not about whether its morally right or wrong if he's stating permanent residence he could start claiming child benefits and take you to court for maintenance

Yep. If he did do that and you claim UC you will lose the child element for him too.

We know too many people who lied about where they live to get the scull they wanted. Were we are they say they can withdraw the place even if the child has started.
