feeling very sad. I have grown up children who weren’t there how I needed them when I was diagnosed with cancer . It’s tainted our relationship now Ive finished treatment

One lives local , one lives 40 mins away one lives down south all adults

In what way were they not there? Physically, emotionally? What did you expect from them and what did they actually do? This could so easily be a lack of communication and expectations.

Are they generally in your life normally? Visiting regularly? Do they have families, partners to take over their responsibilities when needed, the means to take time off work?
