32yo mum to our lovely 3 year old daughter who has recently started preschool in September 2025. Prior to this we were getting ill just not as frequently. Since September we have been ill every couple of weeks if not every week. November I had strep throat, fever and was off work for 4 days. December the flu turned into a lower tract infection and was off work for 3 weeks. January strep again and off work for 3 days. I have even scheduled in a blood test because I feel like my immune system is shot to bits as my husband and daughter never seem to get as ill as me (bed bound with fever on all occasions. My work has suffered because of this, loss of pay, written warnings and left feeling helpless and depressed combined with abit of health anxiety now when in the office because people seem to come in unwell even when they have the option to work from home. What can I do? Is this relatable to anyone else?
