To think my birthday needs to planned and very organised by now

I’m 30 on the 28th July but it seems no one is focusing on my birthday.

Everyone is being unreasonable 🙈 my son’s birthday is July I already know what gift he wants.
You should start a Pinterest board and share it with them for closer to the time if something is being booked like a holiday or restaurant you could make a start with it! It’s not too early to start planning if it’s going to be a big event. Lady who makes our cake’s really appreciates an early booking especially as that’s still wedding season.

I would stomp your feet and channel your inner Veruca Salt and threaten to stay 29 forever unless someone throws you a birthday extravaganza worthy of you.

Don’t worry, will set a group chat on 19th July to arrange.. but it’s midweek so nobody will be able to stay beyond 8pm and we all know if it’s not the actual day it doesn’t count (nobody cares) so maybe try again next year?

Shocking. I was in New York on my 30th. Got friends to organise their wedding there for the week before so I could ensure I sound still be on holiday there when it was my birthday. They were back from honeymoon by then so they could treat me to dinner. Are you friends not doing this for you too?

I'm obviously out of touch! When did 30th birthdays become a big thing? Back in my day the next big birthday after your 21st was your "life begins at 40" birthday.
I don't remember anyone being princessy about their 30th's 🤔

Mine’s in 18 days and I’ve not thought about it. Plus my leg is in plaster and I woke before 5 in pain so I think have more of a reason to moan than you!

Mine is at the end of March and last night DH asked me what restaurant on the cruise ship I'd like to eat in as we are on a cruise then.
