Interview task - help!

This might sound ridiculous, but I have a final-stage interview coming up that includes a 30-minute written task for a creative role (mainly to test writing and grammar)

I’m not worried about the task itself at all but I am worried about how it’ll be done.

would this type of task be done on a laptop?

My handwriting is genuinely awful (like… embarrassingly bad), and I’m so used to typing that I barely ever write by hand anymore. I’m slightly panicking that my work could be judged subconsciously because it looks messy rather than because of the actual content.

i know this is ridiculous but I am panicking about it already!

Can you ask them for this info in advance?

I've not had to do a hand written test at interview, it was on a laptop previously.

Surely it would be typed to accommodate anyone with a need e.g dyslexia, dysgraphia etc?
Plus it's 2026, does anyone hand write anything anymore - except poor kids in public exams!
