AIBU to think a someone could fix this? Any clever seamstresses out there?

I have two silk shirts with a back seam that have slipped (see pic but I guess wait until it is approved)

The reason I haven’t taken it to the menders is because she is only open at the most inconvenient hours (good for her, though) so I can never get there.

I thought the excellent nest of vipers could tell me if this is a lost cause and save me a trip.

Any experts out there?

I am not a professional seamstress but I would be able to fix it, providing there is a bit of a slack in the fabric to take it in a bit. There are fabric glues which can seal the edge to prevent it from unravelling further and then I would personally use a French seam...
Whether she would do it and how much she would charge is another matter, of course.

Agree with @Catza its an easy fix, as long as you don’t mind it being slightly smaller
