It's only the 14th January! Plenty of time yet.

Morepositivemum · 14/01/2026 23:48

It’s only a few days in really op, why don’t you set a date you’d like to have done whatever by?

Cara707 · 14/01/2026 23:49

Maybe time to write a list for 2026 (finances allowing)?

ChristPleaseJustStop · 14/01/2026 23:50

Well do something then?

JanuaryJasmine · 14/01/2026 23:50

What are you on about? It's only the middle of January?

or do you mean 'this year' as in the iast 12 months?

puppyparent · 14/01/2026 23:52

I had no idea anyone expected to do anything in January. Well done getting out to the cinema! Take it easy OP the world is still your oyster

Beekman · 14/01/2026 23:56

I actively look forward to a quiet January and February. What would you like to be doing at this time of year?

MissSookieStackhouse · 14/01/2026 23:56

What’s stopping you? Go out if you feel like it. Unless there is some specific reason why you can’t, the power is in your hands!

ToKittyornottoKitty · 14/01/2026 23:57

It’s the 14th January, get a grip

January is for recharging- snuggling up in the evenings, cosy under blanket, planning your year.
We’re looking at vacation idea and planning our next renovation Grin

MisterT373 · 15/01/2026 02:11

I've not had a proper conversation or spent time with anyone since 2nd January.

rainandshine38 · 15/01/2026 04:01

Eh? It’s January!

jamandcustard · 15/01/2026 07:10

Do you somehow still think it’s December? 😂

Nomedshere · 15/01/2026 07:13

Why not? Money issues or just not organised anything?

GalaxyJam · 15/01/2026 07:14

The year we’re 2 weeks into?
Also, as you obviously want to have done something, then why haven’t you? The only person who can change the situation is you.

MammaTo · 15/01/2026 07:20

My god, come away from social media and stop comparing.

tsmainsqueeze · 15/01/2026 07:28

Other than work neither have I , weather shite , home cozy and warm , why would you want to ?

Lemonsandlime87 · 15/01/2026 07:31

I’ve basically been in bed apart from when I’m at work. It’s freezing, grey and miserable. If you want to do something then just do.

YABU, you went to the cinema, that’s out.
We are two weeks in to January.

Halfthethrill · 15/01/2026 07:35

What was last year like for you?

BendingSpoons · 15/01/2026 07:36

2025 or 2026?

This year has barely begun. I haven't even wanted to go out anywhere yet.

2025 would be a different matter.

TheScenicWay · 15/01/2026 07:41

I understand op. I get my energy from visiting new places too. You know what you need to do - book a day or afternoon out this weekend.
If funds are tight, find a new free exhibition, find a green area you haven’t been to or haven’t been in a while. Try a cafe you haven’t not been to before.
If you can spend some money, then the world is your oyster. Go, go, go.
