I’m on Mounjaro. It was working well and now it’s not working quite so well. It’s turned me off anything creamy or buttery, bready or cakey, but recently I’ve been giving in to cravings for jelly sweets - and then I’m not really hungry for proper food. I’m a competent cook who eats most things but I live alone and I just don’t seem to know what I want to eat any more.

No judgement about the Mounjaro please. But practical suggestions/advice/shared experience very welcome.

I think if you’re turned off cakey and buttery things, it’s not a bad thing. But you need to make sure you’re getting in some healthy oils, omega-3’s, from something like fish. And you need to make sure you’re getting in some fibre in the form of fruit and veg. If you’re craving something like jelly, then maybe a healthier option to give you nutrition is some kind of fruit salad that you’ve refrigerated.

Ive started having a lot more wraps, anything that used to go on a sandwich goes on a wrap, warmed in a pan then wrapped, another alternative is ryvita type crackers, good got things like pate, gives the crunch so can satiate a craving, nice with spread cheese or prawns, a couple is all to stave off. Simple too
