Back in October I had many debates on here about the banning of Maccabi Tel Aviv fans from their fixture against Aston Villa. Many argued that the fans were known to be hooligans and that this had nothing to do with pressure from B'ham MPs and councillors, elected on a Gaza ticket, and certainly nothing to do with antisemitism.
Now that facts have emerged, and the Chief Constable's rationale and decision making process has been scrutinised, the Home Secretary has withdrawn her confidence - essentially demanding the resignation of the Chief Constable.
In view of this, AIBU to suggest that those defending the ban should reconsider their position?
