Next Sofas - Going to Furniture Ombudsman

Very unhappy with Next sofa, I have exhausted the complaints process and I am now thinking about going to the furniture ombudsman.
Please could I ask if anyone has any experience of doing so and the outcome?
Furniture ombudsman decisions aren't published so no way of knowing if I am wasting my time.

Furniture ombudsman were no use! We had an actual faulty sofa nails etc coming out the back after 3 months use - technician out twice and on 2nd visit still had a nail poking out the back and they said it was “fixed” eventually i got a refund via my bank because legally i had to allow them to fiz which they kept saying they had. Was only the cost of the broken one though meaning i was stuck with 1 broken sofa & one odd one until we bought new ones.

you should have been told care instructions including the daily faffing before you bought it and not doing it as stated they’ll blame you. You can’t go to ombudsman because it’s uncomfortable or hassle! They responded to mine quite quickly so you should get a response soon!

I really don’t think you’re going to win on the basis of it being uncomfortable. I bought a memory foam
mattress about 6 years ago which I considered to be way too hard. We ended up donating it to the British Heart Foundation and buying a sprung mattress in the end. I guess it’s personal preference, some people like hard mattresses (sofas in your case), others like them a bit softer. Can’t please everyone.

Rude.

I know and for OP to be banging on about this bloody sofa, she clearly doesn't have much of a life herself!
