Do people chain eat when it’s snowing?

I ate roughly the same amount of calories yesterday as I normally do.

I bet a lot of the extra milk and bread will be chucked. As don’t have the space to freeze

99.5% snow here gone just a few bits where people cleared snow from cars.

My parents bought extra bread and milk, due to a recent hip replacement and spinal surgery, neither of them are confident walking on the ice and snow so they stocked up so they didn't have to go out.

And I truly could not give a shit if it goes in the bin (it won't because they hate food waste) but I couldn't care less if it does as long as they're safe tbh. Wind your neck in

I remember seeing people stocking up on stuff at a Sainsbury’s in Richmond due to the snow weather warning about a decade ago. It was during the day on a weekday morning and busier than it normally was. I had popped into buy a few baking items for a school workshop I was running and had asked a sales assistant about something.

I remember she rolled her eyes at the worried looking crowd milling around picking up everything in sight and said to me “ugh they do this every time, every bloody time and we all know we won’t get that much snow if at all” 😂

I had a freezer set up similar to you before Op if you mean you just have a freezer drawer as part of your fridge? I absolutely hated it was a nightmare during Covid.

I now have a proper decent sized fridge freezer and the freezer half has 4 quite deep drawers which is plenty for me. So if I did go crazy and buy up all the bread I’d have room to freeze it.
