To not be able to forgive my Oodie or my boots?

I have a big snuggly oodie which I've been wearing to bed most nights. The other morning I took it off to make breakfast, then put it on agajn. I looked down, and there was a huge spider on my chest. I screamed and pulled it off over my head and left the room until the spider re-hid itself. I've since washed the oodie, but i haven't worn it since. It's become 'spider oodie'.

I have an old dog. He wee'd on my boots. I cleaned them inside with disinfectant and enzyme spray, I cleaned the outside and polished them up, but I haven't worn them since. They have become the piss boots.

AIBU for being unable to forgive these items of clothes even though it wasn't their fault?

Ps - I've forgiven the dog. He is a good boy.

Can I recommend kicking your Oodie down the stairs before putting it on?

I have a very old house which is full of wildlife, and throwing clothes around the room or down the stairs before getting dressed if they've been hanging up for a while is part of my daily routine. Or you just get used to spiders...

Can't help with the boots, sorry, my dog pees on the rug so you have my sympathy.

You forgave your lovely dog so in my book you are reasonable and a nice person! And make peace with the Oodie. It's cold!

I put a coat on once and a spider ran out of the sleeve and sat on my hand.

I couldn't forgive the coat for a while but I've just started shaking everything before I put it on, because I can't afford to hold grudges against clothes and we live next to a nature reserve!

I'm more surprised you can sleep in an oodie – I would roast!

School break is over now.

I also cannot cope with spider, they’re just frightening, especially the part of them where their legs meet their bodies 😵😱 and the eyes …. The EYES 👀

chance … forgive and try to forget those sad spider and piss moments … forgive your old faithful garments
