Why does quote history do this

Hi why does this happen when you look at the quote history? Does it happen to anyone else. ? Is it just an iPhone thing.? And can I change it? When I look at the quote thread the further down I scroll the the more it changes - it comes up with more and more lines until the sentences break up like this and I can’t read it properly …
I guess I’m asking aibu to feel frustrated and confused by this and also to not know how to change it? (If there is an easy fix please tell me someone!)
I know it’s not a massive deal in life but if I can change it I would really like to know how 😜

Mine looks like this (photo pending, just clicked on a random comment that had quote history), I've never seen it like yours

Oh I have no idea why mine does that then so I don’t know how to fix it,
it starts off normal then as I scroll down more and more lines appear making the quotes thinner and thinner

Mine does that too OP, if there are quite a lot of nested quotes.

It's normal if there are lots of quotes, it's just the way it works

Agree it is normal when there are loads of nested quotes.

This has been raised a few times in site stuff already; it takes a zillion years to scroll through and is unreadable, but…
